Goals:    

Provide support and experiences for youth in hands-on entrepreneurism  

• Ongoing liaison with all South Simcoe high schools and (public & private) adult learning centres and alternative learning providers to offer support, tools and resources for their entrepreneurship programs 

• Ongoing delivery of the Youth Skills Spark program 

Status:     

In partnership with FOCUS Community Development Corporation, we are delivering the Youth Skills Spark program. In 2026 we had 10 participants in the 14 week course.

The Youth Skills Spark program at FOCUS Community Development Corporation helps youth (aged 15-30) navigate the labour market.  Participants prepare for employment by developing skills like problem solving and communication and gain practical business and industry specific knowledge.
