Channeling Mother Nature: New approaches to river restoration explores nature-based solutions for bank stabilization, habitat enhancement, floodplain construction and dam removal with insights from geomorphologist, engineers and restoration professionals.
Organized by the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority, this free workshop will be held at the John L. Jose Environmental Centre inside the Tiffin Centre for Conservation.
The South Simcoe Streams Network program at Nottawasaga Futures is a partner to the NVCA on the stream restoration projects being presented in this workshop.
