In 2026 The AgKnowledge Forum, held at the Gibson Cultural Centre, was a successful event that brought together service providers and Agri-Food business owners. The theme of the forum was Farm Fresh Futures: Launching Your Local Food Business with an emphasis on growth, funding, food safety and, making local connections.  The day started with a presentation on funding followed by a farmer's story. A portion of the day was allotted to networking and presentations from the Federation of Agriculture for cultivating local and food safety from the Health Unit completed the Forum.  Our vendor’s market featured 27 local farmers, makers and artisans. The Shop and Sample opportunity was open to the public and welcomed 500 people. Once again, the market was invaluable for our vendors, many sold out and many established new contacts and opportunities for growth.
